  2. The EDGE had a massive cleanout on Sunday, finally disposing around 20 PC cases, 2 servers and many redundant monitors and other hardware. All useable parts – fans, DVD’s, RAM, screws etc. – were stripped for spares prior to disposal. If you left hardware up here over the years, chances are … it’s gone! You were warned. I did keep Raw’s recently dontated monitors along with Parts’ and Fred’s big monitors, but they are spares currently not in use, feel free to reclaim them.

I’ve so-far built up six of the recently accquired HP PC’s as upgrade replacements with about another six still to do, one of which will become a server, and another a linux test box. One already built has become the download and test for virus’ PC.

In order to get the most out of these legacy boxes so that a broader range of games can be played, higher powered (6600+) AGP graphics cards and a few more IDE DVD drives are required. I intend to purchase these items as funds permit, but donations for the cause are always fully appreciated, both by me and the guests who use them 🙂
