GRID is back and it’s going back to its roots!GRID: Autosport aims to move the series back in line as a more authentic racing game. Set to include a more authentic handling model (more Sim than Race Driver: GRID), five distinct disciplines; Touring, Endurance, Open Wheel, Tuner and Street. Race at 22 locations (primarily circuit based) with a combined route list that totals over 100.

This game is, at its heart, inspired by you guys, our core community.

  1. wedding anniversary dinner tonight. 21 years!!
I will attempt to make it to the next one.
I was of the impression that Grid2 was “coming” but Kieran says it’s been out for ages. True?
If so, I’m getting it on Monday!
Looking forward to seeing you guys again . . . and getting my @rse kicked! 🙂

    • You’d be out on parole for murder now Parts – congrats 🙂

Grid2 was released in May 2013 and from the reviews it was a bit arcadie, don’t confuse it with the latest Grid release – AUTOSPORT!!

US release date is set for June 27, 2014 – so it’s not out just yet!!
WAIT AND GET THIS ONE!!! (Game info HERE)

“For GRID Autosport we’ve gone back to a more authentic handling style. It’s definitely not a full simulation – we want it to be authentic, not clinical – but it’s more towards that end of the spectrum than before. If anything, we believe the handling is actually one or two steps further towards simulation than Race Driver: GRID, to give you an idea.”

No, I don’t think it’s on tonight anyway – think it’s the off week, I’ve lost track.

      INPUT WANTED from agents:
Does another night suit you guys other than Friday?
Saturday perhaps? Open for discussion …

      • won’t you be knackered from the market. I hear you assemble and then dis-assemble half the stalls down there!
can’t have you being over tired and falling asleep at your post.

      • The night time bit’s not the problem, it’s the mornings- especially Saturday – when the late nights catch up.
