After all, I could tell you about something completely off topic that I find infinitely interesting but has no real bearing on Friday night’s proceedings and would most probably bore your socks off, so why bother. I’ll just get on with it then and let you know, because I know you’ve all got busy lives to get on with and probably haven’t got the patience or inclination to read a long winded, padded out boring post that’s completely irrelevant anyway, so without any further ado – YES, gaming is on this Friday.

In development from the same makers of Game Stock Car – Reiza Studios – comes this awesome sim! Now wouldn’t it be good if it was an add-on and the serial keys we just purchased worked for this game Bring it on!

Friday night just gone saw Woodie, Raw and Tone Racing head to head over LAN after purchasing Game Stock Car. Limited to four types of cars and only Brazilian tracks, it’s realistic handling and low outlay makes up for it’s lack of diversity.

A FB Fiend who races for real says “i recomend Game Stock Car, Cheap only $20 i think it was”

Talking about racers, I’ve just been looking into Project Cars

Currently in Beta testing and due for release later in 2013.
Unfortunately, “new members registration and Tool Packs purchasing is no longer possible. We hope to welcome you as members of future WMD projects.”

Looks very promising though, “as real-life racing driver Nicolas Hamilton has joined the studio as Handling Consultant for the new title.”

Forget prayer, hallelujah!  What better way to find out what’s in store than to bunker down for the evening in the Enclave Bunker, gaming on till the lights goe out! If you’re going to go down, you might as well go down fighting .. right? And your best chance of survival is underground!

Best bring your best gaming hardware, a case of your favorite tipple,a pic of the loved ones and a tin of baked beans just in case … it’ll go well with the dog.

I’ve also been researching hard for a new LAN racer … if it’s realism you want, I’ve whittled it down to two likely choices.
iRacing – with ongoing subscriptions and purchases required to obtain extra cars and tracks, but it must be good ’cause the pro’s use it and the tracks have been laser scanned for accuracy, or …
rFactor – one off payment and a great modding fan base with many cars and tracks including … LONGFORD!!
Currently rFactor2 is in Beta testing and requires purchasing to even try it, but there is a demo of the original.

Or … everyone could buy DIRT3 ’cause I have it!
Or tone could roll back to XP.

So who would you rather be with in the countdown to your last breath … me, or the missus? OK, don’t answer that, just focus on survival.
